We urge you to vote for Brad Lander for City Comptroller and  Antonio Reynoso for Brooklyn Borough President, both of whom we previously endorsed during the primary. In the City Council, here are the candidates whom we endorsed or ranked as top choices, and we urge you to vote for them once more:

In addition, Kids PAC also endorses Olivia Drabczyk, running against incumbent Councilmember Joe Borelli in CD51 on the South Shore of Staten Island, and Felicia Singh, a Democrat, who is running to fill in CD32 in Queens. Both of them are former teachers.

Olivia Drabczyk just completed her 10th year as a public-school special education teacher and understands that we must tackle class size and overcrowding to fundamentally improve our schools. Check out her excellent Kids PAC survey on these and other education issues.

We also urge you to vote for Felicia Singh, a teacher with 10 years of experience. Her  positions show her seriousness about  improving public schools and making them more equitable. As a former charter school teacher, her survey responses indicate that she supports more transparency and accountability for the charter sector.  We trust her commitment to creating a brighter future for our kids.

Finally, we are thrilled to be able to endorse Cordell Cleare, who is running to fill Brian Benjamin’s newly vacated seat in the 30th Senate District in Harlem. Cordell has been a progressive leader on many issues that affect our kids, is a former Community Education Council president, and spearheaded the campaign to pass the most comprehensive Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention bill in the country, more than twenty years ago.  We know she will make an excellent State Senator.
